PLAY ME, I’M YOURS
Brookside is proud to partner with Queensland Music Festival inviting you on a musical treasure hunt across our sparkling city.
This July you will be able to find 20 brilliantly painted street pianos across Brisbane, with one in the heart of Brookside. Our piano, called ‘Rocking Horse’ was painted by Niqui Toldi, a Brisbane based illustrator and designer.
Her work comprises of both traditional and digital methods, specifically focusing upon the human form and exploring the idea of space and identity. She is particularly involved within the local art community, plus hosting, organising and participating in exhibitions Australia wide.
Local artists and the community are invited to tinker on the keys and showcase their talents.
What is Play Me, I’m Yours?
From South Bank to Shorncliffe, 20 street pianos are hidden all over Brisbane. With the help of the Play Me, I’m Yours online map, you can explore the city to uncover each beautiful piano. Access the online map at: www.qmf.org.au
